Major Dudes are the headliners of an all day concert event in Saginaw sponsored by Major Chords for Minors, a Saginaw non-profit that helps young kids get started in music.

Major Dudes delivers the Dan to denizens of the Flint area, about 10 miles to the west in Swartz Creek, to be a bit less than exact. This is a lovely outdoor venue, just right for some jazzy/rocky summer sounds. This is a free concert!

Major Dudes, three-time Detroit Music Award winning Steely Dan tribute make their first appearance at the UFO Factory. Can't say there's much of an Irish connection to Steely Dan music (although there's a rumor Peg was born in Dublin) but don't let that deter you. A great time will be had by all.

Warm up what will surely be a chilly winter night with the sounds of Steely Dan music, played with aplomb, by Major Dudes.

It's been quite a spell since the Dudes played the Parliament Room at Otus Supply. Not for lack of trying. A 2021 show was cancelled when guitarist, John Goodsall of Brand X, that shows headliner, passed away. An April appearance this year was cancelled due to a Covid infection in the band. So, here we go. Nothing's gonna stop us this time...knock on wood.

September 24th marks 45 years and one day since the 9/23/77 release of their Grammy Award winning platinum seller. And even more significantly, Steely Dan turns 50 in 2022. Their first album, Can't Buy a Thrill, dropped in November of 1972. Join us as we say happy half a century to this superb Hall of Fame band.

We're excited as all get out to be a part of the 2022 Detroit Auto Show. Is a Steely Dan tribute a good fit for this huge international event? Well, this is the band that asked the musical question, "is there gas in the car?", so we're thinking emphatically yes!

The Dudes make a rare appearance on the east side and their first at the Cadieux Cafe. We've switched from afternoon to evening but don't let that keep you away. We'll have time to play all 10 Steely Dan top 40 hits, the entire Aja album, and a few choice deep cuts. Kid Charlemagne, Bodhisattva, My Old School...you know, great stuff like that.

The Dudes make their second foray into the neighboring state of Ohio, this time east of Cleveland at the lovely Beachland Park on the shores of Lake Erie. Feel like a drive anyone?

It doesn't get any more pleasant and enjoyable than when Major Dudes make their annual return to the beautiful Taylor Conservatory. If you only get to see us four or five times (ten or more is preferable, of course) this year, make sure a trip to Taylor is one of them. 2022 marks the 50 year anniversary of Steely Dan's debut album Can't Buy a Thrill, a cause for celebrating the music of that great Hall of Fame band if ever there was one.
